Cotignac Apartments
Some photos of the apartments in Cotignac, John Brannock's house is the one on the right with the blue shutters. Our apartment is the row of brown shutters on the 1st level across both buildings to the left behind the tree
Turns out there is also a back door and window onto a rear lane, hidden behind the fridge in the kitchen. Not sure what we will do about that!? Looks very ancient.
The Marie Building was built in late 1500's. John Brannock says his house (#2 Marie Square) was built a few years later. Ours is #6 and #8, so who knows maybe built 1600s?!
Back door!
Staircase up 1 level
Front door to small apartment on the landing
Front door to large apartment, same landing as the other door. Little door to the right just visible is yet another door into the apartment, this looks like a maid's door, it also enters into the kitchen, they have a large wine fridge in front of it.
Staircase heading up to other 2 levels
Marble fireplace in the bedroom
Front door to the square
Facade of both apartments
Fireplace in living room, has a flue, not sure if it works
All the floors have the Provencal Tomettes terracotta tiles, ours seem very ancient but we like the shabby chic patina👍

Laneway back door behind the fridge!
Confirmed the stove is €50,000+ new! It is 1994 model, which is probs when the renovation was done.
The Plane tree outside our front door, 1839 and going strong.
Looking from the square away from the Mairie building.
